Covid-19 Climbing & Safety Protocols

Update: June 14, 2020

Due to Covid-19 we shut our doors on march 14 and we will remain closed until July 1st.  Our first concern has been preventing spread of the virus into our own community of Joshua Tree, with such limited medical resources.

Covid-19 has completely changed how we run our programs.  It starts with pre-screening, then physical distancing, hand washing/sanitizing, masks and gloves at certain times and  equipment disinfection.  We are following CDC, state, county, and park service guidelines.

We used to run groups of up to 30 climbers before Coronavirus.  We will be scaling the group sizes way down when classes resume this October.  10 is the max group size currently allowed for guided groups in Joshua Tree National Park.

We feel the safest way to climb in a group is if everyone in the group is in the same household.

Please stay safe and contact us if you have any questions about our Covid-19 protocols.
