Covid-19 Climbing & Safety Protocols

Update: December 8, 2020

All the campgrounds in Joshua Tree are closed until February 1st due to the spike in Covid19 cases in Southern California.  Day visitors from the Southern California Region are allowed to enjoy the park as long as they comply with Covid19 restrictions like social distancing and face coverings when within 6 feet of others.  10 is the max group size currently allowed for guided groups in Joshua Tree National Park.

On all California Climbing School activities, we wear masks when we are 6 feet or less.  We hand wash/sanitize frequently.  Please bring your own hand sanitizer.  We will bring a hand washing kit.  We pre-screen for symptoms beforehand and the morning of the trip.  We socially distance as much as possible.  All equipment gets disinfected afterward or sits for 72 hours before being used again.

If you have a potential Covid19 symptom the morning of your climb, please do not come.  We will give you a full refund in this case.

We feel the safest way to climb in a group is if everyone in the group is in the same household.

Please stay safe and contact us if you have any questions about our Covid-19 protocols.
